The Zooz ZAC38 is a compact plug-in Z-Wave 800 signal repeater designed to extend and strengthen your smart home network. It improves communication between devices, ensuring stable connectivity even in challenging environments with thick walls or metal obstacles.

With a range of up to 120 meters in open space, the repeater helps reach distant or previously unreliable areas. It is especially useful for improving the responsiveness of critical devices such as smart locks or sensors that may experience delays or connectivity issues.

Easy to install, the device simply plugs into a power outlet and connects to your Z-Wave hub. Once included, it operates in the background to optimize signal routing across your network, even if not explicitly recognized by the system interface.

In addition to signal amplification, the ZAC38 includes a built-in battery backup that allows it to send power outage alerts to your hub. This feature provides an extra layer of monitoring not typically available in standard repeaters.
