Fibaro Motion Sensor
The Fibaro Motion Sensor is a multifunctional Z-Wave+ device designed to enhance home automation and security. In addition to detecting motion, it measures ambient temperature and light intensity, while its built-in accelerometer identifies any tampering or movement of the device.
Powered by a battery, this sensor is easy to install on walls, ceilings, or other surfaces without wiring. Its integrated LED indicator provides visual feedback by signaling motion, temperature levels, and operating status, while also confirming inclusion in a Z-Wave network. It can be used for both security systems and automated lighting scenarios.
Inspired by the shape of a cat’s eye, the Fibaro Motion Sensor combines compact design with advanced technology. Its wide detection angle and long range allow it to monitor spaces effectively, improving both comfort and safety within the home.
This intelligent multisensor integrates four key functions: motion detection, temperature measurement, light level monitoring, and vibration sensing. It enables the creation of automation scenarios such as intrusion alerts, lighting control, or energy optimization based on room occupancy.
The multicolor LED indicator can be customized to display temperature or motion detection, providing intuitive visual information. Its sensitivity can also be adjusted to suit different environments and user preferences.
With battery operation lasting up to three years, the device offers flexible placement throughout the home. Its wireless Z-Wave communication ensures seamless integration with compatible controllers and other smart devices.
For added security, the sensor includes anti-tamper protection, triggering alerts if moved or altered. It can even detect vibrations, including minor seismic activity, offering an additional layer of monitoring.
