Energy-Efficient Solar Power
Equipped with a 3V 1200 mAh NiMH rechargeable battery, the sensor runs on ultra-low power (0.0010 W nominal, 0.0027 W in use) and automatically recharges through its integrated solar panel—no battery replacements required.
Rain Detection
This is a binary rain sensor, not a rain gauge. It reports two states: Rain (1) or No Rain (0), making it ideal for triggering automated actions in your smart home ecosystem.
Durability & Protection
Although not IP-certified, the front panel is sealed against rain and splashes. The rear battery compartment is splash-proof but not waterproof; for extra protection, silicone sealant (not included) can be applied around the battery door.
