The SLZB-06M adapter is designed to provide Zigbee connectivity via Ethernet, USB, and WiFi. It features POE functionality and comes pre-configured and ready to use. Acting as a Zigbee 3.0 gateway, it is compatible with various open-source home automation systems such as Zigbee2MQTT, Home Assistant, and ZHA.

It can operate in LAN or USB mode, with simple configuration via built-in software or a physical button.

The device supports integration of an unlimited number of Zigbee coordinators on a single server, making it easy to extend coverage across multiple zones or buildings while remaining connected to a single Home Assistant instance.

SLZB-06M, a Zigbee Dongle Compatible with Home Assistant and Jeedom

Power can be supplied via POE or through a USB Type-C connector. A microUSB to Type-C adapter is included for added flexibility.

Equipped with the EFR32MG21 Zigbee chip, the adapter offers increased transmission power of +20 dB and includes an internal antenna with a +5 dB gain.

Both the EFR32MG21 and ESP32 components support remote updates, eliminating the need for physical access during firmware upgrades.

The ESP32 module also supports direct USB flashing, with automatic flashing initiated as soon as the Type-C cable is connected.
