The THIRDREALITY Motion Sensor R1 is an advanced smart motion detector that uses 5.8 GHz mmWave radar technology to deliver highly accurate and dependable detection in both indoor and outdoor environments. Unlike conventional PIR sensors, it remains unaffected by sunlight, temperature variations, or wind, significantly minimising false alerts.

Designed with Zigbee 3.0 compatibility, this sensor requires a Zigbee hub to function and integrates seamlessly into existing smart home ecosystems. It enables users to create personalised automation scenarios, such as activating lights automatically or receiving instant notifications when movement is detected.

The Motion Sensor R1 features adjustable detection capabilities, offering a configurable range between 1.5 and 9.5 metres along with five sensitivity levels. These settings can be easily modified using built-in physical buttons. Its broad detection angle makes it particularly suitable for monitoring areas like driveways, garages, gardens, and entry points.

Powered by batteries, the device allows for flexible placement without the need for wiring. With a battery life of up to three years depending on usage, it provides a durable and low-maintenance solution for home automation and security. Although suitable for outdoor use, installation in a sheltered area is recommended to protect it from harsh weather and prolong its lifespan.
