The Zooz ZEN51 is a compact Z-Wave relay designed for on/off control of lighting and other electrical loads up to 230 V and 10 A. It also supports dry contact applications, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, including device monitoring and automation.

This module is ideal for retrofitting existing installations, allowing you to keep traditional toggle switches while adding smart functionality. Installed behind a standard wall switch, it enables both manual and remote control via a Z-Wave network.

The ZEN51 supports flexible installation options, including single-pole and three-way configurations. If no neutral wire is available in the switch box, the relay can be installed at the load location instead. It also provides instant status updates to your hub when the switch is operated.

With advanced configuration options, you can customize behavior such as power failure recovery or switch type. The smart bulb mode prevents cutting power to connected smart bulbs while still allowing switch-based control and automation triggers.
