The Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 is a compact Z-Wave micromodule that allows you to remotely control and dim your lighting while keeping your existing wall switch. It enables full control via your switch, a Z-Wave controller, or directly through the module itself, offering flexible and convenient lighting management.

Wide Compatibility with Lighting Types

Designed to work with a broad range of light sources, the Dimmer 2 supports both dimmable and non-dimmable lamps. It features an intelligent detection algorithm that simplifies installation and ensures optimal compatibility across different lighting technologies.

It functions as a dimmer for incandescent, halogen, dimmable LED, and dimmable fluorescent lamps, and as a simple ON/OFF switch for non-dimmable lighting. For low-consumption loads, a bypass accessory can be used to ensure proper operation.

Flexible Installation Options

The module can be installed in both 2-wire mode (without neutral) or 3-wire mode (with neutral), making it suitable for a wide variety of electrical setups. It fits discreetly behind an existing switch, preserving your interior design.

Smart Features and Energy Monitoring

Beyond dimming, the device measures energy consumption, providing real-time power usage (W) and total energy consumption (kWh). This helps you better understand and optimise your energy usage.
